Harrell, Lebron lead the Lakers in their second consecutive OT win against OKC
No Anthony Davis is no problem for the Lakers, as they overcome another overtime skirmish against the Oklahoma City Thunder, bringing the LakeShow a half-game behind Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz. LeBron James and Montrezl Harrell combine for 45 points, but the win wasn’t an easy one, as the Lakers were as down 18 points in the first half. Lebron and Company will now a day off before facing the Memphis Grizzlies this Friday at home.

The absence of Star Forward, Anthony Davis , was definitely a heavy burden for the Lakers, but Montrezl Harrell was the next big man up to fill AD’s shoes. Harrell was all around the court, Splashing and passing dimes whenever possible, but what stood out tonight from his previous performances was his shot from mid-range. Although, The 2020 Sixth man of the year didn’t do it alone. Efforts from LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma were put on notice as well, with James scoring 25 points and Kuzma grabbing nine rebounds, the most for the Lakers. The 114-113 win over the Thunder extends LA’s win streak to six, with the previous three wins being in overtime (back-to-back against the Thunder). The Lakers have a day off tomorrow, and look forward to host their next game against the Grizzlies on Friday.
