Alex Ruiz's Final NFL Mock Draft 4.0
The Mock Draft season comes to an end with the NFL draft this Thursday. The Orlando Brown trade and Teddy Bridgewater trade have shaken things up in the draft order. This will be the final Mock draft for the 2021 class. This class will be special and could go down as the best in recent years.
The Jacksonville Jaguars select: Trevor Lawrence (QB, Clemson)
This man is without a doubt going 1st overall to Duval.
The New York Jets select: Zach Wilson (QB, BYU)
Like the Lawrence pick, the Jets are taking their next franchise QB.
The San Francisco 49ers select: Mac Jones (QB, Alabama)

With recent reports of the Niners selecting either Mac Jones or Trey Lance, I felt way more confident that Jones will be selected at 3. The 49ers are in a good spot to contend with and Trey Lance would need time to develop his accuracy. Jones is the best option for the Niners.
The Atlanta Falcons select: Kyle Pitts (TE, Florida)
The Falcons are listening to trade packages for Julio Jones. This is huge news as he’s been one of the best WR’s in the NFL for the last decade. Getting Kyle Pitts will give Ryan another reliable pass catcher and a generational challenge.
The Cincinnati Bengals select: Ja'marr Chase (WR, LSU)
The Burrow-Chase connection set college football ablaze in 2019 The Bengals will want to recreate that to help their passing attack. The Bengals want to keep Joe Burrow happy.
The Miami Dolphins select: Devonta Smith (WR, Alabama)

With the 2 biggest pass-catchers off the board, The Dolphins selected Heisman winner Devonta Smith. Second-year QB, Tua Tagovailoa gets a familiar target to throw too.
The Detroit Lions select: Micah Parsons (LB, Penn State)

The move most analysts have with the Lions is them taking a WR. I really believe that they won’t pass up on a prospect like Parsons. Their Linebacker core is below average compared to the rest of the NFC. Parsons will be an impact player on their team.
The Carolina Panthers select: Penei Sewell (OT, Oregon)
Sewell completes the O-line for this great offense. Bridgewater getting shipped out means they must focus on making Sam Darnold succeed next year.
The Denver Broncos select: Trey Lance (QB, North Dakota State University)
The addition of Bridgewater doesn't rule out a QB being taken here. Lance is a long-term QB project for whichever team selects him. Denver doesn't need to start him right away as they have 2 starting caliber QB’s.
The Dallas Cowboys select: Patrick Surtain (CB, Alabama)

The secondary gets big help with this addition. The pairing of Diggs and Surtain will be a tough one down the line. The Cowboys address a big hole on the defensive side of the ball.
⋆⋆Trade Alert⋆⋆
The Patriot trade the 15th overall pick, 97th overall pick, and a 2022 3rd rounder to the New York Giants for the 11th overall pick and a 2022 5th round pick
The New England Patriots select: Justin Fields(QB, Ohio State)
With Fields falling in the draft and the QB needy Eagles up, Bill Bellichek knows this is the perfect time to take QB. The top 5 QBs are now off the board.
The Philadelphia Eagles select: Jaylen Waddle (WR, Alabama)
Philly will most likely address their defensive needs with their next 2 picks. They can’t pass up on Waddle to give Jalen Hurts another deep threat weapon.
The Los Angeles Chargers select: Rashawn Slater, (OT, Northwestern)
The biggest need on this team is a blindside protector for Justin Herbert. Slater will be a starter on Day 1 for the Chargers.
The Minnesota Vikings select: Alijah Vera-Tucker (IOL, USC)

Minnesota addresses their Offensive line needs getting a player who can play both Tackle and Guard on the line. This is a great move to give both Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook more help.
The New York Giants select: Christian Darrisaw (OT, Virginia Tech)
The pressure is on Daniel Jones to perform in year 3. Adding help on the offensive line should help him have more time in the pocket and limit his amount of fumbles.
The Arizona Cardinals select: Jaycee Horn (CB, South Carolina)

The Cardinals address their needs at the CB position with more youth. A healthy Cardinals defense is needed if they want to succeed in their division.
The Las Vegas Raiders select: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (OLB, Notre Dame)
The Raiders have lots of needs on the offensive line but getting a versatile linebacker like Owusu-Koramoah will help out the defensive end of this team.
The Miami Dolphins select: Kwity Paye (DE, Michigan)
Miami has a great defense with an exceptional secondary. Adding a pass rush to that team will help Miami’s playoff chances this upcoming year.
Picks for the playoff teams
The Washington Football team: Caleb Farley (CB, Virginia Tech)
The Chicago Bears select: Greg Newsome II (CB, Northwestern)
